About Us

 Dr. Larry Ladi serves as the Medical Director at Fort Bend Lung, Sleep, and Wellness Clinic. 

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Houston, he attended the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico, and New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York earning his Fifth Pathway Certificate-Medical Doctorate. He went on to complete two residencies—in Family medicine with concentration in Emergency Medicine at the University of Iowa- Genesis Family Medicine Residency Program in Davenport, Iowa, and in Internal Medicine at the Maine Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine in Portland, Maine. Further distinguishing his career and advancing his expertise, Dr. Ladi went on to finished three fellowships: He completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship, followed by a combined fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There he also served as chief fellow. He subsequently completed fellowship training program in Interventional Pulmonology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus, Ohio. 

Dr. Ladi brings over two decades of experience in emergency medicine, pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, thoracic oncology, and metabolic support after working for a wide range of hospitals and health systems in Texas, Arizona, and the East Coast. His work has been extensively published in numerous journals and books, and he was awarded the American College of Chest Physicians Recognition Award for Outstanding Abstract in 2013. 

Dr. Ladi is a member of many medical organizations, including the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Thoracic Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. 

A committed leader in academia, he also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center and held previously clinical assistant professor and core faculty positions both at the University of Houston College of Medicine/HCA Houston Healthcare Family Medicine Residency program in Houston, Texas, and Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Conroe, Texas. 

He currently serves as the Medical Director of Hospital Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Nutrition and Metabolic Support at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center Phoenix, as well as the Emergency Medical Services Program Medical Director at Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, Texas
